Behind the sandstone cottage façade a new three-storey building was formed to completely refurbish the dark interior. Linear skylights were inserted along the building’s boundary wall, above the main kitchen and bathroom, introducing natural light deep into the home. Warm greys and whites were chosen for the joinery colour scheme in order to offset the timber floors, while the bathroom incorporates a palette of natural honed marble.
